Doc is so caring and patient he never rushes you out. He takes the time to go over every inch of my pet leaving no stone unturned. His staff is kind and caring and makes us feel at ease when our pets are sick . Thanks everyone
Brought my 12 yr old cat in yesterday when I couldn't get an appointment with my regular vet. I must say that Dr. Lugen and his vet tech were really great with my sick pet. Doctor was very thorough and really took the time to examine my cat and gave me a lot of useful information. Its only been one day but my buddy is recovering nicely! Would definitely recommend!

I switched to Basic Pet Care when I became dissatisfied with Babylon Animal Hospital. The vet techs and Dr Lutgen are a great staff. I get my appointments when I need one. They listen to exactly what I need done. I've been out of work and the office worked with me when my dog need to continue her seizure medication. They keep the cost low without putting my dog's health at risk. Dr Lutgen is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything clearly. I'm very happy here.
Terrific staff and great doctor. They are helpful, caring, and friendly. It's a busy office, but they always take the time needed to ensure that my pet's needs are met.
